Maple Tronics Computers, Inc. (MTC)
offers a limited two (2) year parts and labor onsite service warranty
for all Maple Tronics built computer systems installed by our
staff, which only includes PC, keyboard and mouse. Manufacturer's
warranty applies to other equipment not included in this warranty,
such as monitor, scanners, printers and other external devices.
Each complete unit is warranted free from defects under normal
installation use and service for two years. This warranty extends
only to the original purchaser. It is not transferable to anyone
who subsequently purchases the product. This warranty only includes
PC onsite service for locations within MapleTronics' Zone 3. It
excludes any service beyond Zone 3 as stated in MapleTronics'
zoning areas.
HARDWARE: MTC
warrants its hardware products to be free from defects in workmanship
and materials, under normal use and service, for two years from
the date of purchase. If a product does not operate as warranted
during the applicable warranty period, MTC shall, at its option
and expense, repair the defective product or part or replace the
defective item with an equivalent product or part. All products
that are replaced will become the property of MTC. Replacement
products may be new or reconditioned. Any replaced or repaired
product or part will be included in the remainder of the initial
warranty period.
Hard drive failure: System will be loaded to
basic install (operating system). All additional hardware and
software installation will be charged at regular service rates.
TELEPHONE SUPPORT: MTC
warrants day-to-day hardware and software support for products
or parts in your system. Coverage includes basic operation, fault
isolation and troubleshooting, checking the unit's warranty/service
contract status, and opening a service request when appropriate.
SOFTWARE: MTC's
obligations with respect to software included with MTC computers
are set forth in the applicable end user license agreement. Non-OEM
software products are provided on an "AS IS' basis. Preloaded
software products which are provided by other manufacturers, suppliers
or publishers may provide their own warranties.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY:
Customer assumes responsibility for the selection of the appropriate
applications program and associated reference materials. MTC will
make reasonable efforts to provide support and service with the
software purchased. MTC will not be responsible for malfunction
due to customer installed software or virus in-fection.
EXCLUSIONS:
This warranty does not cover product that is malfunctioning due
to the result of accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, theft, vandalism,
fire, water, lightning or other peril, software corruption damage
due to spy ware and/or virus activity, or because of natural disasters.
Other conditions not covered under this warranty include use of
the product under circumstances which are out of specification,
such as electrical power, temperature, and humidity or by moving,
repair, relocation or alterations performed by some-one other
than a MTC service provider, or by any cause other than normal
use. MTC shall not be responsible for any loss or destruction
of any programs, data or removable stor-age media resulting from
services performed hereunder.
MTC shall not be liable for any special, incidental,
or consequential damages or for loss, damage or expense directly
or indirectly arising from Customer's use of or inability to use
the equipment either separately or in combination with other equipment,
or for personal injury or loss or destruction of other property,
or from any other cause. MTC is not liable for any claim made
by a third party or made by you on behalf of a third party.
In no event, whether based in contract or tort
(including negligence) shall MTC be liable for incidental, consequential,
indirect, special, or punitive damages of any kind, or for loss
of revenue, loss of business, or other financial loss arising
out of or in connection with the sale, installation, maintenance,
use, performance, failure, or interruption of its products, even
if MTC has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

in this warranty agreement. Third year onsite warranty available
