Director of Client Relations

Position Summary

The Director of Client Relations is responsible for leading and empowering our Client Relationship Management (CRM) team to successfully manage our Client's Executive experience.  They will work closely with Marketing and Business Development to profitably grow the business. 

Education/Certifications/Skills Requirements

  1. The Director of Client Relations should have:

  2. Strong interpersonal skills: specifically verbal and written skills, telephone skills, and active listening.

  3. The drive to build Client loyalty and trust through transparency and vulnerability, by using the philosophies in the book Getting Naked by Patrick Lencioni.

  4. The ability to assess situations quickly and articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner.

  5. A high level understanding of technology.

  6. An excellent grasp of business principles and the ability to educate.

  7. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing or equivalent experience.

  8. 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a Managed Service Provider.

 

Ongoing Education Requirements

The Director of Client Relations will pursue continuous personal and professional growth through:

  1. Seminars and/or webinars related to technology, sales processes, and personal growth.

  2. Vendor and trade-related books, magazines, emails, newsletters, and websites to stay current on the latest technologies.

  3. Leadership development courses.

While performing the duties of this job, the Teammate is regularly required to sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The Teammate is frequently required to stand and walk. The Teammate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

 

This position may require driving to and from client sites.  All Teammates who drive for MTC must have a valid state issued driver's license and provide proof of insurance.  Insurance coverage must  exceed:   $100,000/person, $300,000/accident & bodily injury, and $100,000/property damage.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Director of Client Relations will be responsible to:

  1. Develop systems for Client Relations Manager processes.

  2. Manage corporate sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.

  3. Meet planned sales goals.

  4. Set individual sales targets with the sales team.

  5. Track sales goals and report results.

  6. Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team.

  7. Coordinate with Marketing and Business Development on lead generation.

  8. Coordinate ongoing training of the CRMs.

  9. Develop CRMs through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.

  10. Develop and maintain vendor sales relationships.

  11. Promote MapleTronics and our services and products.

  12. Communicate clearly and concisely with Clients and Teammates.

  13. Schedule and lead Quarterly Team planning sessions and individual Quarterly Previews.

  14. Plan and Lead weekly sales Team meetings.

 

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  2. Participation in company activities and meetings.

  3. Actively pursue a vocational improvement plan.

  4. Attend all MapleTronics Sales Team Meetings and MapleTronics Team Meetings

  6. Take an active role in seeking continuous improvement of team workflows and goals.
