What is SOC 2 Compliance

SOC stands for System and Organization Controls.SOC 2 is a rigorous auditing system that evaluates how organizations manage customers' data based on five key trust principles.

MapleTronics was audited on the Security Principle; the other four principles are:

Becoming SOC 2 compliant means that an auditor has verified that MapleTronics' systems and processes meet the strict security and data protection standards.

How we got here

MapleTronics had to go through an in-depth examination of the design and operating effectiveness of our controls. To achieve this compliance approval, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) had to come in and run tests, review evidence, and interview members of our team. With all of this information, they will create a final report that provides their opinion on whether or not our organization meets the necessary criteria to be considered compliant.
